Roan “Jucão” Carneiro - Chief Instructor
Roan “Jucão” Carneiro was born in Rio De Janiero, Brazil on January 9, 1978. Eleven years later he started training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and never looked back. In 1989 Roan started training under the legendary Carlson Gracie. Carlson is considered one of the most technical Gracie’s and perhaps the best Vale Tudo fighter the family ever produced. Roan later moved on to train with the legendary Brazilian Top Team which consisted of Murilo Bustamante, the Nogueira brothers, Ricardo Arona, Paulo Filho and many other great fighters. Roan went from white to black belt under the Gracies and has an extensive competition résumé in Jiu-Jitsu and no grappling competition. Here are some of Roan's accomplishments:

• Shooto Champion (Japan)
• Rio De Janeirio State Champion
• Abu Dhabi trials (6th place USA)

You can find Jucao mixing it up in the Ultimate Fighting Championship's Octagon representing powerhouse "American Top Team". Roan has been training with the likes of Ricardo Liborio, Howard Davis Jr., Marcelo Garcia, Thiago “Pitbull” Alves, Marcus “Maximus” Aurelio along with a host of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belts. Roan also hosts the Atlanta chapter of The American Top Team. If Roan looks familiar it’s because he can be seen on BET’s hit MMA show “The Iron Ring”. American Top Team Atlanta played host to the show and Roan refereed several of the fights shown on the series. Roan currently resides in Atlanta running ATTA and looks to make his mark on the American Mixed Martial Arts scene.

Douglas 'The Phenom' Lima - BJJ and MMA Instructor

Douglas is on a tear to the top of the MMA world and is the reigning MFC Welterweight champion. A Brasilian Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt under ATTA chief instructor Jucão, as well as being a Muay Thai wrecking ball. Douglas is a complete MMA fighter. Holding a 17-4 professional record Douglas has experienced a lot in his career and brings that wealth of knowledge to his classes.
